Almonds
The fruit of the almond is a drupe, consisting of an outer hull and a hard shell with the seed or “nut” (which is not a true nut) inside.
Shelling almonds refers to removing the shell to reveal the seed. Our almonds are sold shelled (i.e., after the shells are removed), unshelled (i.e., with the shells still attached). Blanched almonds are shelled almonds that have been treated with hot water to soften the seedcoat, which is then removed to reveal the white embryo.

Chilli Coated Peanuts
Our delicious chilli coated peanuts are dry roasted peanuts which are then baked and fried in a crispy shell. After deep-frying process, spiced with the wonderful chili spices from the Orient. These delicious nibbles are perfect for serving with drinks.

Corn Sevilla
Maize is widely cultivated throughout the world, and a greater weight of maize is produced each year than any other grain. While the United States produces almost half of the worlds harvest, other top producing countries are as widespread as China, Brazil, France, Indonesia, India and South Africa.

Hazelnuts
Hazelnuts, we often use in our natural nut & fruit blends. Hazelnuts are crispy and has a delicious nutty flavor and is one of the most commonly used nuts for desserts, candy, and assorted pastries.
Hazelnuts are rich in vitamin E. 50g provides a full daily requirement. They also contains folacin, iron, magnesium and calcium.

Macadamia
Only two of the species are edible, Macadamia integrifolia and Macadamia tetraphylla, and of commercial importance. It has a good taste, is high in oil, but is not sweet.
Compared to other common edible seeds such as almonds and cashews, macadamias are high in fat and low in protein. They have the highest amount of monounsaturated fats of any known seed and contain approximately 22% of omega-7 palmitoleic acid, which has biological effects similar to saturated fat.

Paranuts
Brazil nuts for international trade come entirely from wild collection rather than from plantations and are therefore completely free of pesticides, ie organic.
The nuts should be white in the flesh. The yellow color comes from oxidized, rancid fats. Brazil nuts are 18% protein, 13% carbohydrates, and 69% fat by weight, and 91% of their calories come from fat. Nutritionally, Brazil nuts are a good source of some vitamins and minerals.

Pine Kernels Natural
In Europe, pine kernels come from the Stone Pine (Pinus pinea), which has been cultivated for its kernels (nuts) for over 6,000 years, and harvested from wild trees for far longer.
Pine kernels contain (depending on species) between 10-34% of protein, with Stone Pine having the highest content. They are also a source of dietary fiber.

Pistacia vera is in the Anacardiaceae family, is a small three originally from the Middle East and Central Asia. The hanging gardens of Babylon were said to have contained pistachio trees about 700 BC. More recently the pistachio has been cultivated commercially in Australia and the US.

Pumpkin Seeds & Kernels
Pumpkin seeds, also known as pepitas (from Mexican pepita de calabaza, “little seed of squash”) are flat, dark green seeds. Some are encased in a yellow-white husk, although some varieties of pumpkins produce seeds without shells.
The seeds are typically rather flat and asymmetrically oval, and light green in colour inside a white hull. Like cantaloupe, cucumber, and squash, pumpkins and pumpkin seeds belong to the gourd or Cucurbitaceae family.
Pumpkin kernels and seeds roasted or natural are popular as snacks, kernels are a most popular baking ingredient.

Sunflower Seeds & Kernels
Sunflower (Helianthus annuus) is an annual plant native to the Americas, the sunflower seed is the fruit of the sunflower (Helianthus annuus).
For commercial purposes, sunflower seeds are usually classified by the pattern on their husks. If the husk is solid black, the seeds are called black oil sunflower seeds. The crops may be referred to as oilseed sunflower crops. These seeds are usually pressed to extract their oil.
