Through the Years

In 1997, the company Albina Food AB was founded by two visionary former competitors, offering a relatively modest range of basic food products, from chicken to cooking oil. The company grew rapidly and soon became one of the larger and more respected suppliers within ethnic foods.

In 2003, yet another vision was realized in the form of their own roasting facility, and the company began dry-roasting, mixing, and packaging nuts, seeds, and kernels from all corners of the world. The snacks division expanded at record speed, and in 2009, the two owners decided it was time to go separate ways in order to focus more strongly on what each did best. This gave rise to the new name: Albina Swesnacks AB.
