The interest for food from this area has grown exponentially over the last few years, here you will soon find an exciting assortment of delicacies with the absolute best products the Orient has to offer.
Our ingredients are chosen with care and, of course, approved by European Food Safety Authority and our production facilities are ISO 22000 and HACCP certified.
Baklava
Baklava is derived originally from Turkey and is believed to have been created as early as about AD 960 by the Seljuk Turks. The popular dessert then spread rapidly to most parts of the Ottoman Empire (the Middle East, Southeast Europe and Northern Africa, the Omani empire dissolved in 1926)
Today one finds fresh baklava in most ethnic shops and cafes around Sweden, in recent years there are also many large and well-stocked supermarket chains, especially during Ramadan month.
Our premium baklawa consists of a traditional filo dough with chopped pistachios and cashews. When still hot drowned in sugar and salt and then finally cut into square pieces on the diagonal. Enjoyed usually with strong, black coffee which in a great way balances the sweetness of baklava.
